The NAACP in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Youth and College Division will host the Courageous Together Alternative Spring Break to develop leaders by exposing students to concepts of social justice and community development. During the 2016 Courageous Together Alternative Spring Break participants will impact communities through civic engagement and youth empowerment in Orlando, Florida. Further, participants will receive training on community organizing, nonviolent direct action, legal observer training and social media as a tool for social justice.

 

The Georgia NAACP will send a delegation to participate.  If you are interested please contact James "Major" Woodall in addition to registering for the event below.
