ABOUT

The Georgia NAACP co-sponsors Justice Day on February 2, 2017.   The special Legislative Initiative is designed to support our comprehensive criminal justice reform agenda.  Branches and Units should send the Unit Criminal Justice and Legal Redress Committee Chair to participate.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

The morning will begin at 8:30 with registration and breakfast.  At 9 am, attendees will receive a welcome, opening remarks and an overview of the criminal justice reform agenda.  From 10 am until Noon, attendees will lobby key elected representatives to secure the passage of reforms.  Afterwards, attendees will have lunch and hear from key policymakers and thought leaders on criminal justice reform
