Augusta, Georgia - First Quarterly Meeting

February 26-27, 2016


Georgia NAACP's Quarterly Civil Rights Institute provides important training for the Association's Unit Leadership in the Gamechanger Agenda.  Attendees will also pass important resolutions regarding public policies.


Hotel Arrangements

The Quartlery Meeting hotel has changed from the Marriot Riverwalk to the Doubletree due to the rescheduling conflicts.  Again, please make your reservations at the Doubletree. All Individual Reservations must be made on or before the cutoff date of Friday, February 19, 2016.

  2. Select Your Arrival and Departure Date Select # of rooms / # of Adults / # of Children

  3. Below this area Click “Add special rate codes”Drop down to Group code and type in: NCP

  4. Click “Check Availability”Select your Room Type Preference and Click button to Make your Reservation

  5. Complete All personal information including your Hilton Honors # (if you have one) and payment information

  6. Once this is completed a Confirmation email will be sent to the address you provided It’s that easy!

Advance Registration

Friday, February 19th is the Deadline. Please use the attached form or register online. Please note that we cannot guarantee materials for those who register onsite. Therefore, you are strongly urged to register in advance to ensure that you have all that the institute plans to offer.

Wells Fargo Leadership Roundtable Breakfast

Thank you to those that registered for the breakfast. If you are registered to attend the breakfast you should have received an e-mail last month stating so. A list of attendees will be sent out again as a reminder. If you are not able to attend the breakfast due to the rescheduling of the meeting, please contact the State Office as there is a waiting list for openings.

You will see from the agenda that we plan to offer some extensive specialized training in the areas of economic development, education, mandatory training for the units that have recently reorganized, VAN training and voter participation.Thanks advance for your attention to this matter.
