ALTHOUGH THE HISTORY...
...of the Georgia NAACP is rich; we must serve this present age; membership, branches, college chapters, youth councils and future prison units demand a State Conference that is committed to a culture of quality in its programming and accountability in its operations.
We must build the capacity of the State Conference by developing and effectively training our volunteer leaders; strengthening our professional management team to ensure sound business practices; building collaborations with public and private sector allies; and effectively utilizing technology to communicate with our units and partners.
Working together we can:
-
MAKE measurable improvements in our Operations, Unit and Customer Service and Programming.
-
BUILD an organizational culture that at its core is ethical, transparent, and accountable.
-
ENHANCE communication and explore innovative collaboration with colleges/universities; foundations; and other grassroots organizations.
